The Flow Regulator (Dole valve) is designed to deliver a constant volume of water flow over a wide pressure drop range. The constant flow of water is maintained by the use of the flexible orifice. The flow rate is maintained to within ± 15% between 15 and 125 psi. The flow rate varies due to manufacturing tolerances and water temperature. We manufacture flow regulators in various materials such as Nickel Plated Brass, Type 316 SS, and PVC. Flow Regulators come in various flow rates and are 3/8”, ½”, ¾”, 1” FNPT, and 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, 2”, 2 ½”, and 3” MNPT and flow rates range from 0.5 to 120 Gallon per minute (GPM). We also use labels that provide extra-strong protection for harsh environments and conditions. They are constructed from durable polyester that is water resistant and tear resistant providing durable and secure protection. All Flow Regulators are marked with an arrow indicating direction of flow. To ensure proper operation, always install regulator with the arrow pointed downstream.

How much is costing you a failing solenoid valve? Solenoid valves are the most used type of electrically actuated valves for water applications. Unfortunately they use a small orifice to control the water flow. This presents two limitations; it can easily be plugged by solids in the water and, limits the water flow, creating big pressure drops.
